Plan: Swft Business
If you are a user in a company, contact your admin for help. If you are an individual (Swft Free) user, get in touch.
Overview
By adding a custom domain, you can enhance the trust, credibility, and branding of your Swft Connect profiles. Instead of using the standard Swft domain (e.g., swft.id/username), your profiles will use your company’s domain (e.g., swft.yourdomain.com/username). This makes your links more professional, especially when shared via QR codes, NFC cards, LinkedIn, email, and other channels.
Steps to Add a Custom Domain
1. Enter the URL to Use for Profiles
Navigate to the domain settings and input the URL you want to use for your profiles, such as “swft.yourdomain.com.” Once entered, click Add Domain.
2. Add the CNAME Record to Your DNS
After adding your domain, you will be provided with a CNAME record. This CNAME will look something like:
Host/Name: swft.yourdomain.com
Value/Points to: swft.id
You’ll need to update your DNS settings with this information. If you’re not familiar with DNS configuration and/or don't have access, reach out to your IT department or website hosting provider for help.
Helpful Links for DNS Configuration
Once your CNAME record is properly set up and propagated (this can take up to 24 hours), your Swft Connect profiles will be accessible via your custom domain.
